Networked Energy Services Announces the Introduction of AI Solutions
San Jose, CA, August 19, 2024: Networked Energy Services Corporation
(NES), a global smart grid solution provider with the industry’s leading Energy
Applications Platform (EAPTM), is proud to announce the introduction
of its AI solutions beginning with an initial customer support application. NES
is launching AI solutions to help its customers boost smart grid efficiency and
reliability.
NES already provides world-class
technical support to its customers and partners. This includes 24/7 access to
technical resources and technical assistance for customers that are using the
NES System. Now, NES is launching an AI based customer support application to
enhance the customer experience. This application is integrated with the NES
support software and ticketing system, and utilizes an AI embedding mechanism
and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to obtain the appropriate information from
the collected identified documents.
The RAG based AI knowledge system is a
knowledge platform designed to facilitate chat interactions with the company’s
information, simplifying the process of locating and utilizing key information.
This allows our customers to have access to a large amount of information
quickly and efficiently. The RAG system digs through our company data to find the
key related customer information, and a generative AI model uses the retrieved
information to create clear and accurate answers to our customers’ questions.
“AI has the ability to significantly
transform our customers’ support experience”, says Larry Colton, Director of
Product Management and Marketing. “This application will provide our customers
with quicker and more personalized responses, while at the same time
facilitating higher productivity and efficiency of our support and engineering
teams.”
