Polish Energy Minister and Representatives from the Ministry of Energy Visit Landskrona Energi in Sweden
May 31, 2016On May 31st , Landskrona Energi, along with Petter Pettersen from NES, had about 20 people from the Polish Ministry of Energy visit Landskrona Energi in Sweden, including Poland´s Energy Minister Krysztof Tchorzewski . The visit was prompted by Landskrona Energi’s successful participation in a pilot project with NES for next-generation smart electricity meters. As Poland faces a point of changing regulations for energy metering and optimalization, the Ministry of Energy in Poland wanted to learn more about the project in Sweden.
Rickard Alexandersson, project manager of Landskrona Energy said: "We are impressed with the strong cooperation between NES and Metrima and the fact that the NES Patagonia platform is secure and provides the highest SLA's on the market in a multi-application platform. The project shows a very fast return on investment.”.
Mr. Alexandersson added: ”Landskrona Energi’s tests have shown that the NES System delivers the required functionality and performance, including support for multi-utility metering.”
Johan Holmstedt, CEO of Landskrona Energy spoke about the company's history, cooperation with Öresundskraft and Kraftringen. In response to a question of how cooperation between competitors could be successful, Johan Holmstedt replied “Trust!”, which was followed by spontaneous applause.
John also spoke about the company's future investments in Landskrona including the continued rollout of fiber, an even greater range of services , and future charging infrastructure.
Petter Pettersen from NES stated, “Sweden and Poland are very important and progressive markets. It is an honor to receive guests from other countries who want to see how we in the Nordic region are successfully implementing the new EU rules, and Landskrona Energi is such a shining example.
